Rachel O’Conor, PhD, MPH

Rachel O’Conor, PhD MPH is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She directs the Psychosocial Support Program within the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging (CAHRA). She is a community-engaged researcher and received her PhD in Public Health Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. Her research uses mixed methodologies to investigate psychosocial and environmental determinants of healthy aging among diverse older adults managing multiple chronic conditions.

Outside of work, she lives in Oak Park, Illinois with her husband and daughter and enjoys spending time outside and doing pottery.
